Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box passes to the third-party company operating that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to respond. We do not share the message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine server, analytics, and advertising systems may record technical details when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring site, when available; and
- date and time stamps.
Cookies
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can refuse or delete them, although blocking cookies may cause some features to work differently.
How Information Supports the Site
Collected information is used for ordinary operation and improvement. In particular, it may help us:

Links lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release-record resources, government portals, and outside search tools. Once you follow a link, the destination's own privacy policy controls its collection and use of data.
Some advertising companies may track activity across sites to select ads. That tracking occurs through their systems, not records hosted by Weber County Released Inmates.

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be provided to:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that measure site use;
- advertising networks; and
- law enforcement or government authorities acting under a valid legal order.
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard safeguards suited to the information handled. No internet-connected service is fully secure, however, and we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted personal data so that deletion can be considered.
